BITCI celebrates 21 years this year and to mark the occasion they are running a series of thought-provoking conversations on what a new contract between business and society needs to look like.
The role of business and its impact on the climate crisis and social inequality is in the spotlight and this event is a “must attend” for anyone interested in sustainable business and CSR from the classroom to the boardroom.
Day 1: Revolutionary Leadership – Tuesday, 5th October, 11am – 12 noon
This session will look at the revolutionary leadership needed to drive radical change. A panel of CEOs in Ireland will be asked what radical transformation means for their sector and about the hurdles they are facing to make their companies truly sustainable.
Day 2 : Revolution in Action – Wednesday 6th October, 11am – 12 noon
The second day of the series will explore the revolution in action. This will be a practitioner level exploration with two leading sustainability practitioners who will share their own journeys and reflect on the evolution of CSR and sustainability.
Day 3: Revolutionary Conversations – Thursday 7th October 11am – 12 noon
Consumers, activists, NGOs and the media are demanding more revolutionary action from business. With greenwashing in the spotlight and increasing calls for transparency from business when it comes to sustainability and diversity & inclusion, this session will explore the role of consumers and the media in driving change.
