To mark World Ocean Day, some of our employees volunteered to clean our beautiful beaches in Portmarnock, Co. Dublin and Cloughey Beach in Co. Down.
Armed with their fancy litter pickers and their bin bags, our employees scoured the beaches in search of the slightest piece of rubbish that had escaped into the sand. A lot of different waste such as packaging, bottles, vapes and golf balls were found, as well as some unusual objects such as shoe polish!
A healthy ocean is crucial and we must take stronger action at local, national, and international levels. We're proud of our team's dedication and look forward to continuing our efforts in promoting ecological harmony.
