Veolia’s hazardous waste team in Ireland has received not one, but two awards at the All Ireland Occupational Safety Awards.
Our Fermoy Hazardous Waste Facility and our on-site waste management team at a leading semiconductor manufacturer both received awards for their approach to health and safety.

The All Ireland Occupational Safety Awards is Ireland’s premier safety awards programme. The awards, which are organised by the Northern Ireland Safety Group (NISG) and the National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO), showcases organisations which have a positive and proactive approach to health and safety across the island of Ireland.
Veolia’s on-site waste teams work directly on our customer sites to carefully manage their waste streams. The teams help our customers to improve their waste segregation so that recycling and recovery rates can continuously improve.
Veolia’s hazardous waste facility in Fermoy is the hub of our waste management business in Ireland. The site team manages a wide range of waste streams from all of our clients to maximise recovery. The customer support team ensures that our customers have all of the documentation they need to confirm compliance with all environmental regulations.
